About the Lab

Research in the Health and Well-being Lab focuses on understanding the self-regulatory factors and process that enhance health and well-being. Specific interests include the temporal aspects of self-regulation, health and well-being, and the factors that promote positive adjustment to stressful events.

The Health & Well-being Lab is located in the MacKinnon Building at Bishop's University with research facilities supported in part by an infrastructure grant from the Canadian Foundation for Innovation Leaders Opportunity Fund, the Quebec Government, Bishop's University and other partners awarded to Dr. Sirois in 2011. The Lab includes both psychological testing facilities (PTF) and qualitative research facilities (QRF) to provide both objective and subjective assessments of health and well-being.
